I think most Pats fans want to just forget this whole Deflategate thing ever happened, but others are taking full advantage of it.
A fan who was given one of the balls during the infamous game has put it up for auction.
The bidding starts at $25,000 on Lelands.com, and the site founders are predicting that it could sell for triple digits.

Patriots wide receiver Brandon LaFell handed the ball to fan Laura Nichols in the third quarter of the game, right after LeGarrette Blount scored a touchdown with it.
For those of you doing the math: yes, the deflated balls were only used in the first half of the game, but the NFL-commissioned report found that the same balls were just re-inflated for the second half.
So, yes, this really is one of the balls that was deflated. Hopefully Nichols is smart enough to deflate it again before delivering it to whoever wins the auction.
She and her husband even have a notarized letter confirming their story, which they’re including in the auction package along with the ball and her ticket stub from the game.
You can read more on their story from ESPN.
So if you want a piece of rare memorabilia from one of the worst things in Patriots history…you can bid here until July 18.
